Professional Experience
Krista grew up in northern Wisconsin and moved west after law school. She began her law career representing maritime businesses in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood. For the past several years, she focused her practice on defense litigation at a mid-sized downtown Seattle law firm. She joined Preg O'Donnell & Gillett in July 2010 and brings with her additional experience in personal injury, asbestos and toxic torts, employment law and general insurance defense.
Education
Krista received her Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986. She attended Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee and then moved to Seattle, where she obtained her LL.M. in Law and Marine Affairs in 1992.

Professional & Community Activities
Krista serves on the Board of Directors, and is also currently Secretary, of Lawyers Helping Hungry Children. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association and Washington Women Lawyers. An avid runner, Krista has coached cross country and track at area middle schools.
