To all our Clients:
As you know the greater Seattle area has been the subject of much national media attention over the last several weeks due to the COVID-19 virus. Indeed, locally there has been considerable uncertainty, nearly hourly news, and daily directions from our federal, state and local officials. To help slow the spread of the virus, some businesses have moved to a 100% remote workforce at the request of local health officials. As of today, all schools, public and private, are turning to remote teaching and are temporarily closing their facilities to help slow the spread. Our state and federal courts have initiated unprecedented temporary measures to avoid in-person hearings or conferences. Jury trials are being continued and rescheduled to keep the jury pool from becoming a vector for the virus. Even our local churches are turning to webcasts instead of live services. For the next 30-60 days, this is the new normal.
Fortunately, we planned for this contingency. Our computer systems allow us to work both in the physical office as well as in a virtual office environment. Because of the commitment and skill of our lawyers and staff, we will continue to operate at the same high level regardless of the current health crisis.
We remain honored by the trust you place in us to represent your interests. We want to assure you that your trust is well placed. We wish all of you the best in navigating this serious health crisis.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to the attorneys and staff at POG, if we can answer any questions or assist in any way.
Mark O’Donnell and Eric Gillett, founding members, and on behalf of all of us at Preg O’Donnell & Gillett.
